The Inn at Lathones has always had a great reputation for its food and whilst the menu style may have changed over the years the quality and ethos have not.
The restaurant has held Two AA Rosettes over a sixteen year period and is proud to offer its customers great food that is from the local area, organic were possible but always from well known sources.
For instance, all our beef is certified under the Scottish Beef Club as is our Lamb and Pork.
We know where the animals are from their life history should we need to trace it right to the plate. The farms they come from are some of Scotland best.
The restaurant has undergone similar changes over the years and now offers a much less formal style of dining.
Similarly the bar area now serves suppers and lunches and you can enjoy the separate menu in front of the log fire or a warm bowl of homemade soup from one of the comfy leather sofas!
All The Inn's menus follow a theme in that we are into the whole slow cooking programme, not just meaning we cook slowly but that we are looking at recipies and produce that are close to home are well managed and taste just amazing.
