The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is one of the world’s leading golf events and is an attraction for golfers from every corner of the world and has become since first staged in 2001 one of the most prestigious tournaments on the European calendar.
The first Championship was staged in 2001, but even before then the Alfred Dunhill Cup was held from 1985.
The event is a unique celebration of links golfand is played uniquely, over three of the very best links courses in the world - the Old Course St Andrews, the Carnoustie Championship Course and Kingsbarns.
The Dunhill Trophy takes place every autumn in St Andrews and in 2016 is being held between the 6th and 9th of October
The event is free for the first three days at each of the venues and it is only the last day that is ticketed at a cost of £20 for adults and £15 concessions, Under 16s and students get in for free.
